Saving pets through Adoption is one of the most important things to Gerbeaux Dog Bakery. Since October is coming to an end and and so ends - National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Certainly because the month is ending doesn't mean to not adopt a dog or cat. But, you can also help by becoming a foster parent to dogs and cats.
Remember that it takes a Village and you can help by also becoming a Foster Parent to many animals:
1/ Contact your animal welfare group in your community and learn the details about Fostering a dog
2/Fill out the application and be ready to explain why you would be good at Fostering a pet and your motivation for doing so.
3/ Be prepared for a home visit. You will be asked for personal references, vet references and the requirements you will have to follow must be met.
Remember, we all need second chances in life - that includes "man's best friend" - why not become a Foster parent today and make a difference to the ones that need it. For additional information about fostering a dog or cat you can visit - your local ASPCA.
